The cold war against Procrastination

Why haven’t we done what we were supposed to do long back? Why hasn’t that awesome idea from the corner of your head come into reality yet? Knowingly or unknowingly , we all fight this war silently everyday (and lose most of the time) against procrastination.

On the road to GRE

Been 44 days since I set my foot on this road. It’s been quite a bit of an interesting journey so far. This would have been the first time I would be studying English (vocabulary, sentence completion, and reading comprehension) so seriously, along with high school math (as per Indian standards). This turned to be quite in contrast with the usual academia of mine consisting of logical and objective question solving in high school and computer science engineering courses now.

Yahoo! Open Hack India 2012

Yahoo! Open Hack India, organized every year in Bangalore is a developer’s dream event, especially for university students like me, when you avail a lavish treatment in one of the finest luxury hotels in Bangalore, and simultaneously do what you love to do: Development.

This was my first time at Yahoo! Open Hack, since I missed the last one due to the misconception of the word: ‘hack’, which means ‘to build something’, in developer’s terms. The 5th successful hackathon took place in the Sheraton on August 11-12th and after lots of procrastination, I finally sat down today to write my experiences.

Not to be overambitious

It’s been quite a while since I’ve sat down to write although I must have written this a long time ago.

Well, this post is about an incident that occured in my life and then went the moral of the story following it. Why does this moral has to appear in front of you only after the story end and thr character has suffered his part? I wouldn’t let this happern here. So what I learnt from that incident(actually someone told it in a talk a few days after I was succembed by that incident) was, “Not to be overambitious in life”.
